I’m fundraising for the Leukaemia Foundation
I'm Doug, and I'm running 250km from Newcastle to Kellyville along the Great North Walk.
This is bigger than distance for me.
When I was younger, my mum was impacted by leukaemia. More recently, my dad battled cancer too.
Watching someone you love go through that leaves a mark. It changes how you see the world. It's a big reason why giving back matters so much to me now.
This isn't just a physical test. It's a chance to show up for the people who can't. To take something hard and turn it into something good.
Every kilometre is for families living what mine has lived. For the research and support services that actually make a difference when it matters most.
If you can chip in, donate, or just share this page, it means more than you know.
