I'm taking on the Find Your Mountain: Vertical 5km challenge this October.

I’m fundraising for the Leukaemia Foundation

I’m taking on Bloody Mission’s Vertical 5km Challenge - not for distance, but to create real impact.

This October, I’ll be climbing 5,000 vertical metres for the Leukaemia Foundation. I’m doing this challenge in memory of my Mum, who passed away from Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML) in 2021, but I’m also climbing for the more than 170,000 Aussie families currently facing blood cancer, the 55 Australians who hear the words “you have blood cancer” each day and in honour of the 17 Australians who lose their lives to it every day. Blood cancer is a hidden crisis that demands action.

One of the scariest things about blood cancer is that it can strike completely at random. There’s no early prevention, no standardised screening programs and no way to lower your risk. It isn’t hereditary, which means it can affect anyone and It’s also the most common cancer in people under 18, making the need for awareness, support and research even more urgent and evident.

I’m raising critical funds to help families access the emotional and practical support they need through and beyond treatment, while also backing the research and clinical trials that can lead to better outcomes, less invasive treatments and, one day, a future where no lives are lost to blood cancer. Every donation helps turn this challenge into support for families and progress toward that future.

Your support turns my effort into impact. Every donation big or small counts and it’s greatly appreciated.

Your Impact

Help me earn the Off the Mark badge. Every dollar you raise for Australians facing bloody cancer counts.

I’m $1 away from my next impact milestone. Please help me reach it.
